Anthony Moyles and John Fogarty discuss CPA fixture calendar proposals on Off The Ball

he fixture issue in the GAA has not gone away and today the Club Players Association published some proposals to amend the current calendar in both hurling and Gaelic football.

Among them was a Purple Plan and Green Plan, both of which for example reserve the month of April for club fixtures and schedule the All Ireland Senior finals for August.

Former Meath footballer Anthony Moyles, who is a member of the CPA, and John Fogarty of The Examiner joined us on Off The Ball to discuss the proposals and the battle to amend fixtures.

For Moyles, the crux lies around the month of April.
